Tournament Details 

 Dates: May 22–25, 2026 

 Location: Rider University 2083 Lawrenceville Rd, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648

  Cost: $400 per player (includes tournament fees, reversible pinnie, shorts, and miscellaneous expenses).

All registration fees are non-refundable.

A portion of the fee will support Puerto Rico Lacrosse’s mission to expand lacrosse opportunities for youth on the island.

Eligibility Criteria 

To participate, players must meet at least one of the following criteria:

Born in Puerto Rico

 A parent or grandparent born in Puerto Rico

Established current residency in Puerto Rico 

Uniform Order: Once registration closes (in approximately 30 days), you will receive a follow-up email with a link to order your uniform directly from our supplier. The uniform cost is included in the registration fee, but shipping charges will apply at checkout. 

 Important: Please use an email address that you check regularly, as all communication—including uniform orders—will be sent there. 

Coaching Opportunity – We Need You! 

We are seeking volunteer coaches with experience at the high school, club, or college level to lead our teams. If you are interested and live near the tournament venue, please email us at staff@puertoricolax.com with a brief overview of your coaching experience and the team you’d like to coach. 

This is a great opportunity to represent Puerto Rico Lacrosse on a competitive stage and connect with players and families who share a proud Puerto Rican heritage.

FAQS 

1. Does Puerto Rico Lacrosse provide transportation or lodging? 

No. Transportation and lodging are the responsibility of the player or family.  

2. Are hotel blocks available? 

No. Players and families are encouraged to book accommodations that best suit their needs. 

3. Do I need insurance to participate? 

Yes. Each player must have their own liability/injury insurance.  

4. Are meals included? 

No. We recommend each team designate a parent to coordinate food and beverages. Players attending independently are encouraged to connect with teammates to arrange meals and snacks 

5. Will there be practices leading up to the tournament? 

Practices are decided by each respective coach but normally happen on that Friday. Coaches may have a zoom call with everyone leading up to the tournament to discuss game strategy etc. But, it is up to them to decide whether to hold a practice. If a practice is scheduled, it will take place on Friday, though this is subject to change at the coach’s discretion.
