🇵🇷 Men’s U20 Team: Puerto Rico Lacrosse made a major statement at the 2025 World Lacrosse Men’s U20 Championship in Seogwipo, South Korea, finishing 6th in the world after an impressive tournament run against the sport’s top international programs. Puerto Rico dominated pool play with a perfect 3-0 record and an incredible 76-6 goal differential, earning the fifth overall seed heading into playoffs. The team ultimately competed in the 5th place game against Japan after a hard-fought quarterfinal matchup with the Haudenosaunee, continuing to showcase the rapid growth and global competitiveness of Puerto Rico Lacrosse on the world stage.

🇵🇷 PALA Sixes: Puerto Rico Lacrosse proudly hosted the PALA Sixes Cup in Humacao, Puerto Rico, marking the first international lacrosse tournament ever held on the island. The event brought together top men’s and women’s teams from across the Americas and showcased Puerto Rico’s continued growth as a rising force in international lacrosse. Competing on home soil, both Puerto Rico teams earned silver medal finishes while creating an unforgettable atmosphere that celebrated culture, community, and the rapid expansion of the game throughout the region.

🇵🇷 Olympic Recognition: Puerto Rico Lacrosse reached a historic milestone with its official recognition by the Comité Olímpico de Puerto Rico (COPUR). This achievement represents a major step forward for the growth and legitimacy of lacrosse on the island, further solidifying Puerto Rico’s presence within the international sports community. Becoming part of COPUR reflects years of dedication to developing the sport, expanding opportunities for athletes, and building a sustainable future for lacrosse in Puerto Rico while proudly representing the island on the world stage.
